ReplyDeleteTONA: someone is just calling you because, as a grownup with grownup friends, sometimes people just call other people at 10:00 p.m.
TOA: someone you love has been hospitalized with horrible injuries and/or burns that make it unlikely they will live through the end of the week, and the family thought you would want to know.
(and on a totally unrelated note, my Captcha for this comment was "poiasm". which sounds like what you have when your Hawaiian vacation is amazingly good.)
